Open Day on EU-ASEAN Credit Transfer System (EACTS) at the University of Indonesia

On 31 July 2007, the University of Indonesia and the EACTS-project team invited a wide audience to participate in an Open Day in order to present and discuss the outlines and implications of an EU-ASEAN credits transfer.

The Open Day is gave an introduction to the theory and procedures of an EU-ASEAN Credit Transfer System (EACTS) which is being  developed  in  the  frame of the Asia-Link Programme of the European Commission in cooperation with partners in Indonesia, Germany, Malaysia and Italy. The Open Day attracted a varied audience which included among others representatives from the European Commission, UNESCO, the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Technology, the German, Malaysian and Italian embassies as well as higher education institutions.
